Bringing Calligraphy to a Luxury Dinner at The Beverly Hills Hotel

Vintage. Luxurious. Iconic. Classic. Stunning. I couldn't pick just one word to describe how it felt walking into the iconic Beverly Hills Hotel.

As an event artist, I get to exist in some of the coolest places with some of the coolest people, and this was for sure one of those times.

From the thoughtfully-curated dinner menu to the luxury gifting experience, it was definitely a night that the attendees would never forget.

I had my hand(s) in three parts of the night, including the moment guests arrived, with hand calligraphed name cards to indicate each person's seat at the table.

Being Los Angeles, the guest list is never *quite* finalized until shortly before the evening begins, which meant providing my luxury calligraphy services on site so that each guest would receive a personalized place card.

The guests received a welcome cocktail, and were informed they'd also be gifted a personalized Glenfiddich glass. I spoke with each guest personally, letting them know what they could get engraved on their glass (initials, name, special date) and to anticipate receiving it by the end of the night.

While dinner attendees learned about the various tasting notes in the different Glenfiddich whiskies they were drinking with each course of their meal, I was working on engraving both their glasses, and for select attendees, their bottle as well. Receiving a bottle of whiskey is one thing, but receiving a bottle of whiskey with your name on it? Unforgettable.

And of course each attendee received their gift in a beautifully branded Glenfiddich gift bag, along with a special guide for enjoying the whiskey at home.
